"Get Prepared and Survive"

A personal note from the owner.

Dear Customers:

Like most people, I observed historic devastating events on television from natural disasters like hurricanes, tornadoes and floods in the comfort of my home thinking nothing like that would ever happen around here.
On June 18, 2004 a tropical wave was spotted in Senegal near the West Coast of Africa. By July 2, 2004 the wave changed into a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico near the Yucatan Peninsula and its name was Alberto. On July 3, 2004, Alberto hit land near Destin, Florida. The storm moved viciously through Alabama and Georgia.

During the period of July3-6, 2004 (known in the south as the Great Flood of 94') Alberto dumped rainfall in excess amounts from 12 to 24 inches. In middle Georgia, the worst hit areas were Macon and Montezuma. In Macon, parts of down town along with the water authority were flooded and the water supply was contaminated and lost for many days. Alberto took 33 lives, destroyed thousands of homes and costed an estimated property damage of 750 million dollars and was the most costly natural disaster in Georgia history.

My family along with thousands of others was with out running water and power for weeks. The grocery stores were quickly depleted of supplies. We had to wait in line for hours at the local Fire Departments to get water. The site of seeing people fighting and scrambling to get clean water was humbling. I can't begin to imagine the devastation and fear in the people's heart in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina. My experience is not even comparable to that.

Our products are very affordable and can provide you and your family the extra comfort you will need in a time of such tribulations. That is why our goal is to stress the importance of getting prepared. Thank you.

Sincerely,
